Why Take A Specialty Course?
Workshops allow you to deepen your understanding and upskill in a specific developmental area. Regular basic "obedience" classes can't provide the same type of in-depth learning opportunity for any one topic that a workshop can because normally there is a packed curriculum with many different skills to introduce.

We've thoughtfully curated our workshop selections by focusing on key areas of training for both puppies and adolescent dogs that, in our experience, often results in widespread benefits for you and Fido.
Workshop Programs
Puppy ABCs
+ Three courses for puppies each focused on a different primary training "hot" topic
Avert The Jump
There's a variety of reasons people wish their dog wouldn't jump on people. Dirty paws and nail scratches aside - it can become a safety issue if our once small puppy grows into a larger dog.
Learn proactive ways to get ahead and start building more desirable habits and set Fido up for future success.
Cooperative Care
Crates can have many uses. From travelling safely in a vehicle, to helping expedite house training, to providing a comfortable and secure place to rest, it can be worth taking the time to train your dog to love the crate.
Learn how to combine passive and active training techniques that can propel your dog to crate love town.
Building Crate Love
An often overlooked area of training that requires deliberate effort. Tolerance is not the goal when it comes to handling, grooming, invasive vet exams, etc. - we want dogs to be willing participants and love it!
Learn how to teach your dog to love the nail clippers, being brushed, the vet, being restrained, and more!

Teen Confidence

Tricks Are For Teens
Using a combo of reward-based techniques you'll learn how to achieve a variety of novice and intermediate tricks like Secrets, Sit Pretty, Peekaboo, Hoop Jump, Spin & Twist, Prayers, + others!
Tricks are a fantastic way to increase your dog's confidence and continue building a strong bond.
Building Bravery
Increase resiliency and confidence in your timid teen. Learn how encouraging curiosity, exploration, and problem solving can help your dog overcome social insecurities and apprehension.
Work together to conquer a variety of bravery inducing activities that incorporate agility equipment basics.
The Frustrated Walker 1 & 2
Two successive courses work together to target frustration-based leash reactivity & embed new learning, skills, and repertoires.
Specifically for teens who are pro-social with dogs & people while off leash, but struggle with reactivity when they encounter them while walking on leash.

Teen & Adult Cornerstones
+ Three courses for teens or adults each focused on sharpening one of three highly desirable skills
+ Each course runs for 4 weeks with one 45-min group training session per week
+ Courses in this program are scheduled on a rotating basis
Total Recall
Dive deep into everything you need to know about building a rocket recall behaviour no matter the situation using reward-based methods.
Gain the knowledge and skills needed to train your dog to reliably come when called. We start at the beginning and show you and your dog how to be successful.
Leash Lovers
Focus in and learn everything you need to know about training a loose leash walk with your dog using reward-based methods and humane management tools.
Direct coaching every step of the way will help sharpen your training mechanics and set you both up to become happy walking partners.
Chill
Target training is a powerful tool that can have multiple uses.
Learn to take this from party trick to an extremely useful life behaviour by going deeper than just the basics of spot targeting. Encourage relaxation and provide Fido an alternative to jumping, begging, counter-surfing, you name it!
